Job Description
L Makeup Institute School of Beauty , SFX, and Airbrush is seeking a Social Media Manager to join our team. This position will be responsible for creating content and management of our social media accounts and will report directly to the Director of Marketing. The ideal candidate will have experience in marketing and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Duties include:
Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the school's overall marketing objectives.
Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success and impact of social media efforts.
Manage and curate content for multiple social media handles, ensuring school identity and relevance. Oversee photoshoots and capture images that reflect student culture , enhancing the school's connection with the target audience.
Oversee and manage online communities on various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok).
Actively participate in trending topics, respond to student inquiries, and serve as the authentic voice and face of the school online.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement a targeted paid advertising strategy specifically tailored for Instagram and TikTok.
Maintain a consistent posting cadence by uploading, scheduling, and posting approved content across all designated social media channels.
Monitor and adapt posting schedules based on student engagement patterns.
Stay informed about social media trends, tools, and applications.
Recommend and implement strategies to continuously optimize the school's social media presence for maximum impact and reach.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including admissions teams, to ensure a unified and consistent message across all platforms.
Align social media efforts with broader organizational goals for growth and optimization.
Manage and curate content for multiple social media handles, ensuring school identity and relevance.
Oversee photoshoots and capture images that reflect student culture, enhancing the school's connection with the target audience.
Work collaboratively with internal teams to create and implement effective marketing strategies.
